How to Get a Second Opinion of a Lie Detector Test

Whenever the results of a previous exam are in question, GPN’s owner Michael Martin is available to provide a Quality Control Review (Second Opinion) of the exam. We offer three levels of QC Reviews.

If the validity and/or accuracy of a previous polygraph test are an issue, we are here to help get to the truth.

There are numerous errors that an examiner can make when administering an exam.  See below.

What is the fee for a QC review?

Michael charges 200 USD per hour, billed to the nearest 1/4 hour. A Level One QC review of a single exam normally takes about one hour.  A Comprehensive QC Review will take longer, depending on the volume of materials and the additional time required.

How do I start the process?

1. Contact the original examiner to obtain the necessary materials. These materials may be sent to the client, or directly to Michael by email or mail.

  • A complete set of charts (not compressed)
  • A list of all questions asked on the exam, along with their associated question ID numbers
  • The Examiner’s hand-score of the charts, if available
  • A audio or video recording of the exam (for a Level Three QC)
  • The final report issued by the examiner

2. If the examiner declines to provide these materials, it is likely the examiner does not want to have his/her work scrutinized by an independent expert. This is a red flag, and an indication that the exam may have been flawed.

3. If the Examiner does not release the requested materials, Michael can still perform a limited review of whatever materials are available (reports, interviews, etc.)

4. Send these materials to Michael, either by email (as attachment) or by regular mail.

5. Submit a non-refundable deposit of 200.00 USD, which will not be processed until the materials have been received. This fee covers the first hour of review, and most Level One Reviews take about one hour, unless additional review services are requested.  Level Two and Three Reviews will be charged hourly depending on the comprehensiveness of services requested.

6. The review process usually takes about one week. Results are sent to the client via email, unless requested otherwise.
