Internship Program (Paid)

"Get your polygraph career started"

If you are interested in pursuing a career as a polygraph examiner, GPN now offers PAID INTERNSHIPS for qualified individuals. If you are currently an examiner with less than 100 exams completed, or are currently in or planning to attend polygraph school, this program could be for you. Customer referrals will be made only to interns who have completed an APA Accredited polygraph training program, received advanced (specialized) training by GPN, and then all exams must be supervised by a senior GPN member until the intern qualifies for regular (full) GPN membership.  Interns will be paid for administering these exams.

NOTE:   This program is only available for examiners who can provide exams between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday-Friday Eastern United States time zone.

  1. High school graduate.
  2. No criminal record.
  3. Financial resources to attend and complete polygraph school and purchase equipment. No referrals will be made until the examiner has met all training requirements.
  4. Willingness and ability to travel.

  1. Get PAID to administer polygraph exams.
  2. Work under the supervision of an experienced examiner (Mentor).
  3. Receive client referrals while you build your own business… with our help.
  4. Fast track to full GPN membership upon completion of 100 exams.
  5. Access to GPN resources such as marketing materials and business advice.
  6. Capitalize on GPN’s extensive worldwide marketing programs.

Interns must attend an accredited polygraph training school at their own expense. Interns must own (or have regular access to) computerized polygraph equipment. Interns must carry professional liability insurance and name GPN and their Mentor as additionally insured on the policy. When cases are sent to the Intern, GPN and the Mentor collect a portion of the fee. The Mentor’s fee will terminate upon completion of 100 exams when the Intern becomes eligible for full GPN membership.  This typically takes 1 to 2 years depending on test volume.

Interns are members of the Global Polygraph Network®, not employees or contractors. As such, Interns are responsible for all of their own taxes, licensing (where required), licensing fees, training fees, and other costs associated with the operation of a polygraph business. Interns (as all members) are required to use only Validated polygraph testing methods as determined by the American Polygraph Association.

“As an intern with Global Polygraph Network®, I was able to gain experience and had the constant guidance needed to confidently administer polygraph exams covering many issues.  I am currently an independent, and happy to say, successful polygraph examiner because of the experience I gained interning with GPN, and also with the fact that advice and help from Michael Martin did not end with the internship.”  –  LG (New Jersey)
