Criminal Defense Assistance Program
FREE LIE DETECTOR TESTS
The purpose of this program is to provide professional polygraph services to those who may not be able to afford this service, with the intent to aid the individual with his or her defense against serious criminal charges.
THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY:
1. The person being tested must have been formally charged with, or been convicted of, a serious crime.
2. The FREE exam must be intended to be used to exonerate the person being tested, either in the trial phase, appeal phase, sentencing phase, or in connection with a new trial bid. This program is not available for those who have completed their sentences, and is not available for defendants in civil cases.
3. The FREE exam must be administered in one of the below-named cities. In some cases, the examiner can provide services in a prison facility if the facility is close to one of the listed cities.
4. The results of the FREE exam, regardless of the outcome, may be released publicly by GPN or by the examiner. Confidentiality of test results must be waived, although no personal information will be released publicly.
The following cities are currently available for this program. If you qualify for this program (see requirements above) please email us at info@polytest.org to request an application form. If the test is to be done in a prison facility, that facility must be located near one of the eligible cities listed below, to minimize examiner expenses.
